So if you haven’t been following Pharyngula then you might not know about the debate PZ Myers and Ray Comfort were supposed to have this morning on talk radio show on the radio station WDAY. Well, somewhere along the line the debate turned into Ray Comfort getting an hour to talk on the show today and PZ getting tomorrow’s slot. That’s probably for the best. I don’t think Ray would like everyone to hear him squeal.

Anywho, PZ summed up the whole show pretty well in his blog. The comments also portray the radio show as it happens, so if you’re curious you can take the time to read them.

Here’s some nice quotes from Ray.

“Explosions don’t produce order. They produce chaos so to say there was a big bang, a big explosion, without an intelligent designer to bring order is insane. And that’s what I think evolution is… It’s a fairytale for grownups.”

“Dogs do not have kittens. Chickens do not have eggs with puppies in them.”

He also alludes to mammoths and modern elephants being the same species.
