PZ Myers responds to Ray Comfort on a WDAY Radio Show
by k3vin on Aug.06, 2008, under Media, Science
After yesterday’s craziness that Ray Comfort let loose on the radio it’s nice to hear some words of sanity on the talk radio show on the radio station WDAY. They were HARSH on Ray Comfort. I almost want a debate to see what his response would be and so he could maybe defend himself. However, it’s doubtful. When Ray was on yesterday he just avoided questions by pretending not to hear and answering a different question.
Like yesterday, you can basically track the conversation on the comments on Pharyngula.
Where can you find the audio? From mediafire, drop.io, my server, or you can listen from right here:
It was a good show. Basically everything Ray Comfort said yesterday was responded to. There was even a caller about the crackergate incident. The host, surprisingly, seemed very rational and seemed to sympathies with almost every one of PZ’s arguments.
//EDIT: I realize now that this isn’t a Christian talk radio show.. It’s just a talk show. Which, to me, explains why the host wasn’t very hostile toward PZ. I changed the title and in-line text to reflect this fact.

Listened to both shows. Really not impressed with PZ at all. He gave no substantial evidence to prove his points other than a little folding of the gut in lizards…??!! Is that the best that evolutionists have. And the host was extremely sympathetic to PZ and anything he said without presenting any real questions to challenge anything that was stated. Almost sounded like this was a show set up for PZ from the beginning. One more point…love the misrepresentation of Ray Comfort and things that he has said. Works well with a sympathetic talk show host.
